Ziplock Bag Production Process

 
Prepare Ingredients

First of all, Polyethylene plastic resins are selected based on the quality and characteristics needed for the final product. These plastic beads are then cleaned and classified to remove impurities, ensuring the purest input materials for the production process.
Quality control: Each batch of plastic pellets undergoes rigorous testing for quality, moisture, and chemical properties.
Temperature and pressure preparation: To achieve optimal results, adjusting the temperature and pressure of the heater is an important step, preparing for the next extrusion process.

Blowing Polyethylene Film

The extrusion process is the next step, where Polyethylene plastic pellets are melted and forced through a mold to create a thin plastic film. Then, air is blown in to expand the plastic film, forming a large and continuous film tube. The membrane tube is then rapidly cooled with cold air to keep its shape.
Adjusting the thickness: During the film blowing process, adjusting the thickness of the plastic film is extremely important to ensure that the Ziplock bag achieves the necessary strength and airtight properties.
Film rolling: After cooling, the plastic film is rolled into large rolls, preparing for cutting and welding.

Cut And Seal The Bottom Of The Bag

From the large film roll, the plastic film is then cut to the preset size. Each cut piece of film will form a pocket when sealed at one end.
Cut to size: The cutting machine is used to cut plastic film into pieces with precise dimensions, based on product requirements.
Seal the bottom of the bag: Using a heat sealer, the bottom of the bag is sealed to ensure no air or liquid can leak out.

Add Ziplock

Once the bag is in shape, the next step is to attach the Ziplock to the top of the bag. Ziplocks are manufactured from a different type of plastic, designed to be easily opened and closed without damaging the bag.
Attaching the Zip: The Ziplock is attached to the top of the bag through a heat sealing process, where a strip of soft plastic with grooves and edges is securely attached to the top of the bag.
Tightness Test: Each Ziplock bag is tested to ensure easy opening and closing and a tight seal, keeping out air and water from the outside.

Before packaging and distribution, each Ziplock bag must undergo a series of quality checks to ensure that they meet standards for durability, sealing, and reusability.
Durability test: Tests such as tensile and compression are applied to check the durability of the bag, especially the welding and Ziplock parts.
