1. Raw material inspection

Melting index (MFI): Melting index is an indicator of plastic fluidity, which affects the production and processing performance of plastic bags. By testing the melting index, you can understand the fluidity and processability of the material. A melting index that is too high or too low will affect the quality and molding process of the product.
Density: Density is an important criterion for measuring whether the material meets the specifications. The density of transparent plastic bags should meet the predetermined standards. Through density testing, you can judge whether the material is pure and avoid using inferior raw materials.
2. Transparency and appearance inspection
A notable feature of transparent plastic bags is their transparency, so the inspection of transparency and appearance is crucial.
Transparency test: The transparency of transparent plastic bags can be measured by visual inspection or using special instruments (such as transmittance testers). Plastic bags with high transparency can clearly show the contents of the bag and meet high quality requirements.

Thickness uniformity: Thickness uniformity is crucial to the strength, durability and appearance of plastic bags. By randomly sampling the film thickness at different locations, ensure that it meets the specification requirements.

4. Tensile strength and tear resistance
The tensile strength and tear resistance of transparent plastic bags are important indicators that affect their performance. Qualified plastic bags need to have sufficient strength and toughness to prevent them from breaking during transportation and use.
Tensile strength test: The maximum tensile strength and breaking point of plastic bags are tested by using a tensile testing machine (such as a universal material testing machine). Plastic bags with insufficient tensile strength are prone to break during use, affecting the packaging effect.
Tear resistance test: The tear resistance test is used to evaluate the tear resistance of plastic bags. Through the tear test, the tear resistance of plastic bags when subjected to external forces is checked.
5. Low temperature and high temperature resistance
The performance of transparent plastic bags in different temperature environments also needs to be tested to ensure that they are not easily damaged under extreme temperature conditions.
Low temperature resistance test: Place the plastic bag in a low temperature environment to detect whether it will become brittle, crack or lose flexibility. Suitable for food packaging, refrigerated transportation, etc. in low temperature environments.
High temperature resistance test: Treat the plastic bag with high temperature to test whether it will soften, deform or melt. High temperature testing is particularly important for hot food packaging and plastic bags for industrial use.
6. Environmental testing
With the improvement of environmental awareness, the environmental performance of transparent plastic bags has become an important factor of concern to consumers. Testing whether they meet environmental requirements can ensure their safety and sustainability.
Heavy metal content testing: Plastic bags may contain harmful substances such as lead, cadmium, and mercury, and heavy metal content testing is required to ensure that they meet safety standards, especially when used for food packaging.
7. Sealing and water leakage testing
The sealing and water leakage of plastic bags are crucial to their ability to protect products during the packaging process.
Sealing strength test: Check the sealing strength of the sealing part of the plastic bag to ensure that the bag mouth is firmly closed and will not crack due to pulling.
Water leakage test: Perform a water seal test on the plastic bag to check whether there is leakage, especially when used for liquid packaging.
