To enhance team cohesion, relieve work stress, and experience diverse cultures and the beauty of nature, the company organized a unique team-building trip from February 24th to 28th, 2025. The destination was Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, known as the "tropical rainforest, plant kingdom, and animal paradise." In just five days, we traveled through rainforests, Buddhist temples, mountains, and experienced local culture, gaining not only beautiful scenery but also camaraderie and personal growth.
1,Exploring History and Faith, Experiencing the Cultural Heritage of Xishuangbanna
The first stop of our journey was Manting Park. This is the oldest royal garden in Xishuangbanna, with lush trees and tranquil lakes, possessing both natural beauty and a rich historical and cultural heritage. Everyone gradually relaxed from their work pace during a leisurely stroll, officially beginning this journey.
Next, we visited the Grand Buddha Temple and the Great Golden Pagoda. The solemn Buddhist temple and the glittering pagoda allowed everyone to experience the profound cultural heritage of Dai Buddhism firsthand. Here, we learned to slow down, felt a sense of reverence, and achieved a moment of inner peace in the tranquility.
2,Getting Closer to Nature, Walking with Wildlife
We entered the tropical rainforest and visited the Xishuangbanna Forest Park. The tall trees, dense vegetation, and fresh air made us feel like we were in a natural oxygen bar. Team members took photos and chatted with each other, creating a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we arrived at the much-anticipated Wild Elephant Valley. Observing the life of Asian elephants in their natural habitat was a rare and awe-inspiring experience. The concept of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature became exceptionally real here, giving everyone a more intuitive understanding of "sustainable development."
3,Jinuo Mountain Trekking Adventure, Challenges and Collaboration Hand in Hand
The most challenging day of this team-building trip was the Jinuo Mountain trekking adventure. Crossing forests, climbing slopes, and
overcoming natural obstacles tested both physical strength and willpower.
During the trek, everyone encouraged and supported each other; there was no "individual," only "team." This was not only a physical challenge but also a vivid lesson in teamwork. The moment we reached the finish line, a sense of accomplishment and team pride welled up within us.
4,Exploring the mysteries of life, experiencing ethnic customs
At the end of our journey, we visited the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This garden, home to a rich diversity of tropical plant resources, allowed us to deeply appreciate the wonders of nature and the power of life, and also inspired
our thoughts on science, ecology, and the future.
Following this, we visited the Dai Ethnic Garden, experiencing traditional Dai architecture, folk culture, and lifestyle. The warm and vibrant ethnic atmosphere provided a fitting and memorable conclusion to our team-building trip.
The five-day trip to Xishuangbanna was more than just a trip; it was an enhancement of our team spirit.
We relaxed in nature, learned from culture, grew through challenges, and became more cohesive through collaboration. In our future work, the trust built in the rainforest and the strength forged during the trek will undoubtedly translate into sustained momentum. With our hearts united, no distance is too far. With the team working together, a bright future awaits.
