1. Shape:
Usually a flat rectangular or square bag. One end of the bag is open and the other end is heat-sealed.
2. Wicket Holes:
Two or more holes are punched near the open end of the bag. These holes are used to thread multiple bags on a metal or plastic wicket (iron bar), ensuring that the bags are neatly arranged for easy extraction and use.
3. Material:
Usually made of polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). The material is transparent or translucent, and the color can also be customized according to demand.
4. Thickness:
The thickness range is wide, with a common thickness of 0.5 mil to 6 mil (1 mil = 0.0254 mm).
The thickness selection depends on the purpose, thicker bags are more durable, and thinner bags are more economical.
5. Printing (optional):
The surface of wicketed poly bags can be printed with patterns, text or brand logos. Printing is usually located on the front or back of the bag.
6. Size:
The sizes vary from small (such as 4x6 inches) to large (such as 24x30 inches). The sizes can be customized according to customer needs.
